Lap Band Device Issues

In most cases, the Lap Band Decision is not the right answer for individuals if:

* One may be allergic to materials in the device.

* They cannot tolerate pain from an implanted device.

* The person or a family member has an autoimmune connective tissue disease. That might be a disease such as systemic lupus erythematosus or scleroderma. The same holds true if one has symptoms of one of these diseases.
